Overview

    Drop your kids off at our super-creative kids art programs! Our workshops are a wonderful antidote to too much screen-time and nurture your child’s creativity. Perfect for arty siblings ages 5-12. Breaks are outdoors at Bieler Park playground on Gilderthorpe avenue with a picnic & play weather permitting. Please be sure to pack a HAT & apply SUNSCREEN (these are not supplied).

    (Drop off 9am, pick up 3:30-4pm)

    PUPPET DAY

    We'll be making HUGE fish stick puppets and decorating them with a plethora of craft materials, paint, glitter and all the shiny things! In the afternoon we're painting gorgeous underwater-themed pictures. (We may even sneak in a round-the-block giant puppet parade!!)

Little Ginger Studio is a Children's Art Studio offering after school art classes and creative holiday care.


We run ART LAB programs - which are STEAM focused (STEM with Art included).


Hi I'm Danielle, Mum of our feisty studio name-sake, qualified Primary teacher, experienced Art Educator, recycled materials hoarder, crafter and all-round manager of things.


My creative business was founded 15 years ago to nurture kids' creativity and empower them with confidence and problem solving skills. After 20 years working in Public schools our Bricks 'n mortar studio was born which ran successfully for 6 years (even through Covid lockdowns!). Although our dedicated space closed last year, we now host bigger and better school holiday programs at council venues and onsite after school art classes.


Little Ginger Studio is know for providing the best Art Camps in the East - focused on fun, hands on and child-led creativity! Come along and see what we're making!
