MC Equestrian offers a fun and supportive environment for children aged 2 years and up to learn horse riding and horsemanship skills.

From private riding lessons and school holiday camps to preschool riding programs, pony parties, and casual pony rides – we have something for everyone. Our team of qualified, experienced coaches work alongside calm, well-schooled horses and ponies who are used to working with children every day.

With a large covered arena, our lessons and activities run in all weather, year-round. Whether your child is taking their first ride or building confidence in the saddle, MC Equestrian is the perfect place to start.

PRIVATE LESSONS

At MCEQ we offer lessons for all ages and abilities 7 days a week, with a range of dedicated instructors and coaches, each with their own area of expertise.

SCHOOL HOLIDAY CAMPS

Looking for ways to keep the kids amused these holidays? Join our fun-filled, half day horse riding holiday camps offering horsemanship, riding tuition, mounted games and grooming for school aged children. Or build your own group and create your own unique lesson experience perfect for pairs or small groups of riders.

PONY PARTIES

A Pony Party is a memorable way to celebrate your child’s birthday or special event. Our ponies are calm, well-mannered and very loveable - the perfect choice for a birthday party to remember! Best suited for children aged between 3 to 10 years. Pony Parties are run on Sunday afternoons for 4 hours.

Our parties are designed to provide maximum fun in an enjoyable and safe learning environment and include 2 hours with the horses; a combination of basic riding instruction, mounted games, grooming and horsemanship. Followed by 2 hours at your leisure to celebrate with cake, presents and limited party games (all own arrangements) *Party decorations, games and food not included.

PONY RIDES

A pony ride is a 15-minute slow walk on one of our adorable, calm ponies being led by one of our team. A chance for your toddler to get a feel for horses in a calm, relaxed environment. Pony rides are available for preschool children aged between 3 to 5 years, weekdays during school terms: Monday to Fridays (excluding Wednesday) Two time slots 11am or 11.15am.

PRESCHOOL COURSES

Our Preschool Riding Courses are a step up from a Pony Ride, they entail a 30-minute lesson from our qualified coaches. Suitable for children aged 3 to 5 years who are ready to learn more, but don’t yet have the stamina for a full length private lesson. Available weekdays during the day throughout school terms. Sold as a course for 8 to 10 weeks.
