The Perfect Pitch Project (PPP) is a free local music initiative for kids and families in the Eastern Beaches. Open to preschoolers through to teens, it offers a fun and engaging way to explore musical pitch training as part of early musical development. With free access to learning materials and optional group lessons, families can enjoy a unique opportunity to nurture their child’s musical journey.
🌟 Our Mission
We aim to give children a rare musical advantage by helping them develop Absolute Pitch — the ability to recognise and name musical notes by ear. Our mission is to make pitch training enjoyable, accessible, and inspiring, while contributing to future research in music education and neuroscience.
🎼 Our Programs
* Play‑based Pitch Training – Young children enjoy tuneful, interactive activities similar to Play School or Sesame Street, while older kids explore age‑appropriate pop and listening exercises.
* Learning Materials – Families receive free resources and a tailored system for easy practice at home.
Group Lessons – Optional free in‑person or Zoom sessions provide extra support and community connection.
Expert Guidance – The program uses the CLEAR system, developed by local educator and international pitch expert Blake Kearney, a jazz musician and classical graduate currently completing a Neuroscience Master’s degree.
