Come along and create a colourful series of works in your very own foldout concertina art book! You'll use print media, handmade collage paper shapes, vintage and recycled art ephemera, watercolours and paint pens to bring your ideas to life.
These concertina art books are SO much fun to work with. They are so versatile - you can pretty much do whatever you like with them. You can turn them into mini scrapbooks, pop-up books or junk journals, comics or zines. Or you can use each page as a mini canvas to create a series of masterpiece works. You could even create a story of adventure, mystery or mayhem! Not even the sky is the limit here.
If you live with a little paper lover (hint: they love to tinker with paper and you may have many piles of cut up paper all over your house as proof!) then they will LOVE this workshop.
You bring your exciting ideas and imagination and we’ll bring the materials and guidance to help you along. You are welcome top bring images or additional papers from home if you want. For kids and youth aged 5+

Kid approved and trusted by parents because:
We nurture creativity, confidence and courage through meaningful art experiences for kids.
Creativity → Confidence → Courage
At Dabble Art, we believe creativity builds confidence — and confident kids grow into courageous people who know who they are, think for themselves, trust their own voice and move through the world with purpose.
That's why we create thoughtful in-person creative experiences for kids and downloadable resources to support parents and educators in nurturing children's creativity, confidence and courage through self-expression, connection and the joy of making.
We specialise in immersive visual art experiences for budding young artists aged 7–15.
Artists explore drawing, painting, clay, textiles, mixed media and more, in a supportive studio environment that encourages curiosity, experimentation and creative independence.
Through sustained art-making, children naturally develop technical skills alongside confidence, problem-solving, emotional awareness and trust in their own creative voice.
Our Art Immersion program runs along side the QLD school terms on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 3:30 - 5:00pm
Our creative space is called Studio Vā and is located within The Foundry Bulimba at 82 Taylor Street, Bulimba (4171).

The Dabble Art Difference?
We trust the process of art-making and the capability of children’s hands.
In our studio, children are immersed in rich visual art experiences that encourage curiosity, exploration and creative freedom across drawing, painting, sculpture, textiles, mixed media and more.
As they create, children naturally begin to trust their ideas, express themselves with confidence and discover new ways to communicate what they think, feel and imagine.
Along the way, they also build resilience, emotional awareness and a stronger sense of themselves as capable creators, thinkers and problem-solvers.
This is the quiet magic of meaningful art-making — and the heart and soul of Dabble Art.

Parent Testimonial:
"Your class is a space for her to let go - to understand herself. It’s therapy. What happens in your class stays with her. I could cry. Thank you so much. I wish we had so many more Mrs Royles in the world. What a gift you are." — R.B, Brisbane
