- Can't decide between Minecraft and Roblox? Why choose when you can code in both! Our unique 2-Day "Minecraft VS Roblox Coding Camp" offers an exciting opportunity for young tech enthusiasts aged 8 years and over to explore the coding landscapes of these two hugely popular games.
Across two action-packed days (15th & 16th July), campers will get a feel for the different coding environments and languages that power Minecraft and Roblox. They'll dive into:
Minecraft Modding & Automation: Learn how to use block-based coding (and get a taste of text-based concepts) to create custom items, build automated structures with Redstone, and design mini-games within their Minecraft worlds.
Roblox Game Development: Discover the power of Lua, the scripting language behind Roblox, as they build their own interactive experiences, design obstacle courses (obbies), and program unique game mechanics.
This camp isn't just about playing games; it's about understanding the logic and creativity that goes into making them! By exploring two distinct platforms, participants will gain a broader understanding of coding principles, discover how different programming languages work, and develop versatile problem-solving skills that apply across various digital environments.

What they'll do:
Experience coding in both Minecraft (using block-based Java Script) and Roblox (using Lua).
Create custom mods and automated systems in Minecraft.
Design and program interactive games and experiences in Roblox.
Understand how different coding languages are used in game development.
Enhance logical thinking, creativity, and digital literacy.
