- Volcano Expedition Minecraft coding camp is designed for children in school grades Y3-Y6 who are at least 8 years old. This school holiday, join a team of geologists in exploring a volcano and solving exciting mathematical and coding challenges!
• FACE TO FACE CAMP.
• Age: school Y2-Y6 (minimum 8 years old).
• Bring your own laptop / iPad from home. If that’s not possible you can hire one from us.
During the camp, children will have the opportunity to build their own Minecraft world, while also learning valuable coding skills. They will learn how to code an Agent to escape a maze in Minecraft Educational Edition, and explore the chemistry and atomic structure of elements in a Minecraft environment.
In addition, children will learn about the eruption of volcanoes and their impact on nature. They will also have the chance to train their math skills by learning about geo-locations and coordinates.
