Overview

    Our Connecting to Country Contemporary Aboriginal Dance class provides our students to connect strong in their identity and learn to be strong in their culture whilst sharing and connecting upon country, creating confidence and creating mob for life.

    Additional One Off Payments Required - Payment be made via Bank Transfer - See details in Booking confirmation notes
    $150 Registration Fee to cover insurance for your child (Child cannot dance unless this payment has been made)

    Uniform Packs
    $220 - Jumper shorts crop singlet
    $220 - Winter Jacket tights (not compulsory)
    Payment required by Week 2 Term 1

    Costume Fees
    $175 - Costume Traditional must be paid term 1 week 5
    $175 - Costume Contemporary must be paid term 1 week 5
    Payment required by Week 5 Term 1
    NB Costume Fee must be paid in full by Week 5 Term 1 or child will miss out on the 2023 Costumes for performances and year concert

About the provider

Welcome to our Dance Studio, where we offer engaging contemporary Aboriginal dance classes designed specifically for school-aged children! We are dedicated to sharing the rich cultural heritage of Aboriginal dance, providing a vibrant and supportive environment for kids to express themselves.


What We Offer


Dance Classes:


Join us for classes held at convenient locations:


• Mondays: Karuah Community Hall

• Wednesdays: Mindaribba Land Council

• Thursdays: Soldiers Point Hall

• Fridays: Merewether Uniting Church


Our classes run in line with school term dates, making it easy for families to participate.


Workshops and Programs:


We also offer syllabus-based workshops and educational programs tailored for schools. If you’re interested in bringing the joy of dance to your school, feel free to contact us for more information!

ABOUT ME


I am a proud descendant of the Wiradjuri/Wongaibon people of central west NSW, deeply connected to my family and community. Raised on Worimi country in the Karuah/Swan Bay area, I cherish my cultural heritage and aim to share this beautiful legacy through dance.
