EGA Kinder Gym | 3.5 years old to 4 years old | 45min - Parent Involvement Mandatory
Term fee plus annual Gymnastics Australia Membership Registration & Club Fee ($65) Please note the membership registration and club fee is included in Term 1 tuition.
This class introduces young children to gymnastics with challenging circuits to learn specific development skills each week. The circuits will change using 4 of our main apparatus Vault, Bars, Beam and Floor. This is a structured class which involves parent assistance ensuring they are following instructions. If your child is 3 years old and not ready to follow instructions, please enrol in EGA Toddler Free Play class.
Each week will have a theme which will be located on their stamp cards. This can vary from dress-ups, climbing, rolling, bring a friend and shapes. At the end of the term, they will be awarded their Kinder Gym cards as an indication of completing the terms activities.
Eastern Gymnastics Academy (EGA) is a family-run gymnastics school that has been inspiring young gymnasts since 2015. Founded by former gymnast Nikkie Cleaven, EGA has grown into a thriving academy that caters to hundreds of budding gymnasts with the support of over 20 accredited coaches. Our team is fully qualified with GYMNSW and holds Working With Children Checks (WWCC), ensuring your child’s safety while they learn and grow in a supportive environment.
At EGA, we provide state-of-the-art facilities that offer a fantastic experience for gymnasts at all levels. Our equipment includes a full sprung competition floor, a 10m tumbling trampoline, parallel bars, beams, a vault suitable for all training levels, a monster foam pit, and various other fun, strength-building activities like climbing ropes. Whether your child is just starting or has gymnastics experience, we provide the tools and coaching to help them reach their potential.
Pre-school Gymnastics
Our Pre-school Gymnastics classes are a motor development program for pre-school children. Toddler Free Play and Kinder Gym classes provide a safe and exciting indoor playground, where a child and their parents can learn and play together, whereas, Kinder Stars provide your child with the opportunity to develop their skills without parent involvement. All these programs are designed to develop fundamental movement patterns, coordination, balance, strength, and flexibility through exploratory plays, games, and music.
Recreational Gymnastics
Recreational Gymnastics caters for all ages and all abilities ranging from 18 months to adults and for beginner to advanced athletes. Absolutely no experience is required!
Gymnastics provides a foundation in movement patterns for boys and girls as well as contributes to general fitness, coordination, agility, strength, balance and speed (GymNSW).
All of our recreational classes are divided by year group at school. This allows us to ensure that all our younger gymnasts are learning the fundamentals to all skills and the older gymnasts are putting these fundaments to good use in achieving new skills!
Competitive Gymnastics
EGA has Competitive Classes for National Stream Level 1 to Level 10 as well as State Stream Level 3 to Level 7.
Our competitive classes are by selection only for gymnasts who wish to compete in various competitions (both internal at EGA and external at other venues). All gymnasts are required to attend skills testing each term. Please contact us at easterngymnasticsacademy@gmail.com before enrolling in EGA’s competitive gymnastics. If your child has previously trained in competitive classes at another gym, we recommend that you request a trial for us to see what class would be appropriate for your child and for your child to see if they like our gym! We would love for you and them to join our gymnastics family.
Boys Recreational Gymnastics
We are excited to introduce our Boys Recreational Gymnastics program, designed for boys of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced athletes, who want to learn the fundamentals of Men’s Artistic Gymnastics. This program provides a strong foundation for those interested in progressing to competitive gymnastics while fostering a passion for the sport.
Led by experienced coaches who specialize in training male gymnasts, our program is tailored to meet their unique needs and abilities. Our dedicated team is committed to helping each athlete develop their full potential in a supportive and motivating environment.
Our curriculum focuses on building strength, flexibility, coordination, and agility—key components for success in Men’s Artistic Gymnastics. With a combination of structured training and personalized coaching, every participant receives individual attention and guidance.
Whether your child is new to gymnastics or has prior experience, our program adapts to all skill levels. Our coaches assess each gymnast’s abilities and customize training accordingly, ensuring a challenging yet encouraging atmosphere that promotes growth and achievement.
EGA Holiday Camps
Our dedicated team has designed the "Gym-Cation Care Holiday Program", specially tailored for children aged 4 to 14. This exciting program features a wide range of engaging activities, including arts & crafts, games, sports, dance, movies, and gymnastics-inspired fun! We aim to foster independence and celebrate each child’s unique personality.
The program is open to both current EGA members and new participants looking to experience the EGA spirit. Join us for one or multiple days and take part in a variety of exciting in-house activities!
