At Mad Hatter Music, we attract kids with superpowers. Children who sing, dance, explore, and create at a pace of their own. They might not fit into that traditional “mould” and neither should they have to.

OUR CLASSES
♪ Level 1 (5-7yrs)
Designed for kids with wiggly feet and big imaginations. Creativity is what we live for! It’s most important that our students are heard and their curiosity is nurtured. This class is all about making real friends and having a good time.
♪ Level 2 (8-11yrs)
Time to step up your child’s independent learning skills. We challenge them in all the best ways. Oh, and a lot of our ‘Big Kids’ stick around after class to play handball too. After all, they’re friends now!
♪ Level 3 (12-16yrs)
What do teens crave the most? Connection. The chance to fit in. Homework doesn’t exist here! There are no tough expectations. We value responsibility, free choice and challenges. Your teen will find these piano classes so refreshing.
ABOUT US
“Aren’t all schools designed for kids?”, I hear you ask. Well, let’s just say that’s a matter of opinion. Can you tell me how many minutes break your child gets from school in a typical 6hr day? Does she get ample time to freely use her imagination? Does he receive praise when he questions everything he’s told or enjoys finding different ways to solve a problem?
At Mad Hatter, we are a music school specifically created to put the fun back into learning. To capture our children’s sense of adventure. Our school freely encourages teachers to change directions with kids at the drop of a hat. (excuse the pun!)
Why? Because that’s who KIDS are! Basically, we are saying that everything you see and hear from your child, is what we’ve designed our school around. Their short attention spans, their eagerness to learn. Their incessant questions. Their need for a routine but also for flexibility.
Have you heard of the infamous “Mad Hatter” from Alice in Wonderland? It’s so interesting to see Disney’s portrayal of his character. Here is a fully grown adult with childlike curiosity. A human with a thirst to ask unanswerable riddles and switch chairs for no reason at all. His struggle with emotional control is normalised too - he endlessly swings from being happy one moment to angry the next! His concept of time is limited to simply choosing to be cheerful at any moment in time.
The Mad Hatter embodies who we are as a school - a place for kids to freely be who they’re designed to be.
