- Fun and exciting, interactive FREE Music and Piano Workshops for Kids!
Come and enjoy learning music with friends as we sing, move and play together, with parents too.
There will be Preschool Music Workshops on Tuesday 28th January and Thursday 30th January at 10.00 am.
Music for Babies and Toddlers Workshop will be on Wednesday 29th January at 10.00 am.
Fun and engaging Piano Workshops will be held on Tuesday 28th, Wednesday 29th and Thursday 30th January at 3.30 pm each day.
The workshops will run for approximately 45 minutes, with time for questions. Parents are definitely required to come along and enjoy this educational music experience with your child. All workshops will be held at Allegro Childrens Music studio (104 Lucas Road) in Burwood.
These January workshops are absolutely FREE but bookings are required and places are limited, so hurry to avoid disappointment!

Welcome to Allegro Childrens Music, where Kodály-based music education and good quality learning experiences go hand in hand.
Allegro Childrens Music is situated in Burwood, in the heart of Sydney’s Inner West. This Music Studio is a happy, nurturing and vibrant environment where people of all ages can explore music and develop their creative potential with confidence, and the support of a caring and experienced teacher.

Do-Re-Mi Music for Children classes cater for babies through to school age children. Babies, Tiny Tots and Toddlers, as well as Pre-school age children are accompanied by their parent or carer, who participates with them and is important as the child’s learning partner. Babies are always welcome in Do-Re-Mi Early Childhood classes (aside from dedicated Babies classes) and benefit enormously from this early exposure to music. Children attend the School age classes independently; however parents and carers are always welcome in the Studio. The support of family is encouraged at all stages of learning as it is so important for the social and emotional growth of the child. Do-Re-Mi Music For Children is an affiliated program with the Kodály Music Education Institute of Australia.
PIANO LESSONS are available for both Primary and High School age children as well as adults. Musicianship and Theory of Music are also offered. These subjects can be studied for recreational purposes as well as for the preparation of examinations and/or eisteddfods if desired.
MUSICIANSHIP/THEORY OF MUSIC is taught in conjunction with private piano lessons and may also be studied as a separate subject area.
Come along and experience the joy of singing and clapping; moving and dancing; imagining and discovering; composing and creating; listening and learning; playing percussion instruments and playing the piano.
