- A 2 hour spring school holiday hand building and/or wheel throwing class with clay for children aged 5+ years!
If your child loves to make and play with a bit of clay, then this is for them! Under the guidance of our wonderful tutors, they will be immersed in a world of creativity and fun that will only make them want more! Firing their masterpieces and all clay and tools are included in the fee starting from $70/child.
Parents are welcome to watch from a distance or join their child! Please be mindful the studio is limited in space. If your child has lots of energy and excitement that needs regular curtailing, we suggest parental assistance to support our tutor in keeping things go smooth and quietly for them as best possible.
These classes will be a mix of either wheel throwing and-or handbuilding.
It’s the teachers prerogative to choose the technique that they are best at to share with the children. Some classes will have a focus solely on hand building.
3 pieces maximum per child will be kept for glaze firing at Clay Talk with collection to take place 14-28 days after class at reception, Montsalvat, Wednesdays-Sundays 10am-4pm.
If your child makes more than allocated 3 pieces for glaze firing and wishes to keep their other pieces, you are more than welcome to take them home with you on some newspaper which the Clay Talk studio can supply.
You will be notified when to collect your child's pieces via email or SMS.
