Paintbox Art School in Buderim, QLD offers fun, hands‑on holiday art classes that inspire creativity and confidence in young artists. Our Playful Platypus + Clay Chameleon Figurine session invites children aged 6–14 to enjoy a joyful, imaginative studio experience where they can paint, sculpt, and explore new techniques in a warm, supportive environment.

We aim to give children a welcoming space to create, experiment, and express themselves freely. Through guided steps, playful processes, and a nurturing teaching style, we help young artists feel proud of their work while enjoying a memorable holiday activity.
🦎 Our Programs
* Playful Platypus Painting – Kids begin by creating a unique background using a monoprint technique, ensuring every artwork is one‑of‑a‑kind. They then explore colour theory, brush techniques, and texture as they paint their own cheerful platypus.
* Clay Chameleon Figurine – Children learn how to shape the basic forms of a chameleon, including the body, legs, and head. They practise correct joining techniques to build a sturdy, expressive clay sculpture to take home.
* Holiday Session Details – A relaxed, creative class suited for ages 6–14, including a snack break, optional canvas add‑on, and a friendly sign‑in process on arrival.
* Teacher – Cheryl, a Buderim artist with a teaching degree, QCT and Blue Card registrations, and experience teaching at Immanuel Primary School, Matthew Flinders Anglican College, and overseas. She brings a warm, encouraging approach that helps every child feel capable, creative, and excited to learn.
