Overview
- Approx Ages: 4 to 7 (Beginners)
Theme: Individual skills, exploration, and self-discovery.
Building on the foundational skills introduced in our Mercury program for younger children, Venus Explorers provides the next step in your child’s soccer journey. This class is where children transition from early exploration to more structured skill development, all while enjoying the excitement and joy of the game.
At this stage, children are developing their confidence and sense of identity. That’s why this class is designed to nurture their potential in a supportive and joyful environment.
Through soccer, we don’t just teach skills—we spark a lifelong love of movement, teamwork, and self-belief. By focusing on individual achievements, children feel empowered to take on challenges, celebrate their progress, and explore what they’re truly capable of.
Your little star will take part in a fun, engaging, and structured 60-minute session - with small group sizes (maximum child-to-coach ratio of 9:1) - to ensure every child receives individual attention and feedback. Each session combines matchplay, ball mastery and skill-building.
Midway through, we take a short break to incorporate social and emotional learning (SEL) activities, inspired by the CASEL model, to develop important life skills.
The session concludes with a practice match, followed by:
- A breathing exercise, to assist with the self-management skills
- A recap of the key technical and SEL learning points
- Awarding the Star of the Day to the child who shines brightest, by most closely following the 3 Superstar Tips
By blending essential soccer skills with valuable social and emotional learning, Venus Explorers provides a well-rounded experience where children not only grow as players but also as confident, compassionate individuals. This program sets the foundation for a lifetime of learning, teamwork, and personal achievement.
