Power House Performing Arts

POWER HOUSE PERFORMING ARTS is a premier dance school, established in January 2024 based in the heart of the Northern Rivers. Our 2 studio spaces are located in the Lismore CBD and we offer a large variety of classes and styles to suit all ages.

We are a family orientated team of qualified passionate teachers who value every student optimising their individual growth and development.

Our focus is on technique and safety whilst maintaining a fun environment and encouraging friendships to flourish amidst the student’s strong dance development.

We offer 2 streams of Dance: Recreational and Performance Groups as well as private tuition to further your skills and support you at your own pace.

FREE TRIAL CLASSES AVAILABLE ALL YEAR ROUND!

Trial classes allow new students to test out which style of dance excites them. Often students want to attend all the classes for their age, therefore we have timetabled these classes, so your child only has between 1-3 days maximum of dance per week.

What do we offer?

🔹TINY TOTS (3-4 years) and KINDY DANCE (5-6 years)

Explore ballet, jazz, tap, acro, rhythm, balance and stretching in the one convenient class.

🔹RECREATIONAL CLASSES

Provide a choice of ballet, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, balance & stretch, tap, technique, stamina, acro and hip hop in the following age groups:

Juniors (6-8)

Intermediate (9-11)

Seniors (high school age)

Our Recreational students have the option to be part of Lismore Carols, Lismore show, our end of year and mid-year concerts.

Our competitive performance teams include groups in the following ages:

6 years

8 years

10 years

12 years

14 years

15 years

Our performance teams compete at Eisteddfod’s and competitions from Grafton to the Gold Coast as well as perform alongside the recreational dances at local community and studio events.

We provide our senior performance team students teaching opportunities to run workshops, experience creating a program and delivery of classes, all under guidance of our qualified teachers.
