Music is a language you can feel but without words. The beauty is, you can put your own imagination and story to every piece.

I love to teach little fingers to play. My students range in age from as young as 4 years to adults. At Elegrace Music, we are serious about learning music and we also want to have fun!

Patience is one of the core values of my teaching philosophy while encouraging their love of music. I help to nurture and develop each individuals talent and music creativity to achieve their best results.

I am happy to prepare students for AMEB exams when they are ready and if this is what they look forward to.

With more than 10 years of one-on-one teaching experience, my lessons are tailored to each individual student. I focus on giving my students a good foundation from the very start, a key to keep them progressing in the future. I believe if you want to learn music, it is best done properly from the start so they can be both independent and confident at their music grade level. This involves counting, note reading, finger technique, listening, and theories.

Music has been scientifically proven to help brain development and activity. Music is not just about playing, whilst a prominent and attractive part, composing and creativity in contemporary music is also important.

It’s never too late to start learning piano as long as you are passionate and practise. When you learn music, it also helps you develop better patience and perseverance.
