Overview

    Rise Up Kids Yoga & OT introduces a very special set of wellness based events to celebrate National Children’s Week 2023.

    The FLOW & GROW Parent and Child Mini Retreats!

    This 2 hour indoor daytime 'Mini Retreat' for 3 to 6 year olds, run by an highly experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist and Accredited Children's Yoga Teacher, will work on building connection between you and your child through a wonderful range of 'Meaningful Fun' activities.

    Activities include and focus on:
    • connection games
    • laughter,
    • relaxation,
    • breath-work,
    • heartfelt reflections,
    • morning tea
    and of course – YOGA!

    This time together will truly nourish each others souls and help them to FLOW & GROW together.

    If your child is aged 3 to 6 years old then please book your place here (numbers are listed to just 8 pairs) and join us at the Yoga Freedom Studio in Avondale Heights on Sunday October 22 from 10am to noon for an amazing morning of real connection and fun.

    FAQ
    • Parents, you don't need to have any yoga experience and/or be flexible to do this retreat, but you do need to be playful, curious and open to fun! *
    • All mats, yoga props, wholesome food, art materials and a small gift are included in the cost and provided.
    • As the focus of the retreat is on one-on-one connection, only one child per adult.
    • Retreat cost includes both parent and child. Tickets are LIMITED to 8 pairs. Purchase ONE TICKET ONLY. The ticket fee includes BOTH CHILD AND ADULT (please ignore that it says per person at checkout). Put your child details as attending and your details as the parent.


    *Please note: The yoga movements in the retreat are aimed to be gentle and not too strenuous on your body. However, it is a physical activity so please be mindful of your movements during the session and work within your limits. Please also aware of any physical, medical (eg, blood pressure, chest pains etc) or mental conditions that may pose a risk to your or your child's health and safety and if necessary, seek medical advice before booking this session.
