Woollahra Sailing Club is home to one of the most impressive dinghy clubs in Australia.Situated overlooking picturesque Rose Bay in Sydney's east, kids learn to sail within some of the city's best views and facilities on the Harbour.
Our kids' programmes are available from 7 years of age, and we have a variety of learn to sail programs for kids to adults, school holiday camps, in-school programs, power boating, windsurfing lessons and more.
Our School holiday camps run all year around, from 9-3pm daily and are grouped by; kids aged 7-12 years and 12 years - 17 years. Each group caters for beginners to intermediate sailors.
Kids will experience a hands-on introduction to the sport of sailing, how to name parts of a boat, how rig and set a sail, tacking and gybing while meeting new friends and enjoying our spectacular harbour here at Rose Bay.
The kids will also participate in Kayaking, Stand-up Paddle board, Windsurfing* (*Teen holiday camp only due to core strength and abilities) lillypad games, beach activities and power boat adventure rides.
Our camps are action packed and full of fun for those adventurous kids who just love water sports and trying new activities.
All safety equipment is provided by the Club, kids need to bring swimmers, rash vests, hat, sunscreen, towel and change of clothes. BYO lunch or pre-order through our cafe.
