Overview

    Drop your kids off at our super-creative kids art programs this Summer! Our workshops are a wonderful antidote to too much screen-time and nurture your child’s creativity. Perfect for arty siblings ages 5-12. Breaks are outdoors at Bieler Park playground on Gilderthorpe avenue with a picnic & play weather permitting. Our studio is air-conditioned, clean & comfortable.

    Please be sure to pack FOOD, a HAT & apply SUNSCREEN (these are not supplied).

    9am start - pick up from 3:30pm-4pm

    CORAL REEF PAINTING

    We're getting inspired by Ken Done and creating gorgeous mixed media artworks of coral reefs, tropical fish and life underwater. We'll be using watercolours, acrylics, paint sticks and paint pens to create watery masterpieces. In the afternoon we will create some cute clay fish/coral sculptures to finish.

Little Ginger Studio is a Children's Art Studio offering after school art classes and creative holiday care.


We run ART LAB programs - which are STEAM focused (STEM with Art included).


Hi I'm Danielle, Mum of our feisty studio name-sake, qualified Primary teacher, experienced Art Educator, recycled materials hoarder, crafter and all-round manager of things.


My creative business was founded 15 years ago to nurture kids' creativity and empower them with confidence and problem solving skills. After 20 years working in Public schools our Bricks 'n mortar studio was born which ran successfully for 6 years (even through Covid lockdowns!). Although our dedicated space closed last year, we now host bigger and better school holiday programs at council venues and onsite after school art classes.


Little Ginger Studio is know for providing the best Art Camps in the East - focused on fun, hands on and child-led creativity! Come along and see what we're making!
