Art Masterclass is a premier, boutique art studio offering a mix of traditional craft workshops in Sydney.
We are Australia's first workshop to teach the art of trafitional Turkish lamp making.
In the 2.5 hour class you will learn the techniques of a 500-year ancient craft.
You will learn and practice assembling geometric patterning
Techniques for laying the tiles
Using your geometric template you will be guided to create your own traditional Turkish Mosaic Candle Holder or Table Lamp!
There are limited spots in the class. If there is a visitor coming with your child, such as a parent, family member or friend, please let us know 2 days in advance. Maximum of 2 visitors allowed. There is a $30/pp visitor fee which can be paid on the day.

Art Masterclass is a premier, boutique art studio. We are Australia’s first workshop to teach the art of traditional Turkish mosaic lamp making.
When we set out to bring the cultural art of Turkish mosaic lamps, we knew we needed it to bring happiness, love, and care for anyone and everything that walked into our workshops. We didn't need the pieces to fit perfectly in order to achieve some amazing things; which conveniently fits the philosophy of mosaic.
What makes our classes suitable for kids?
We teach the kids how to use the craft tools appropriately and guide them through their creative decision making process while letting them to be their true self and independent. Arts and crafts are very important tools of expression in regards of strengthening crucial fine motor skills, developatience and finding their own ways of communicating their emotions and thoughts.
We highly urge parents to encourage their kids towards the activities where they will be using their creativity. We will be more than happy to help your little ones!
