Overview
- Tournament Format:
This tournament is an individual and not a team event. The tournament is restricted to players under 2000 ACF. The tournament is an 8-round ‘Swiss’ competition. This means that all players play 8 games and no-one is ‘knocked out’ of the tournament. The time limit is 60 minutes per player per game with a 5 second increment per move.
All players must record moves on a scoresheet until they have less than 5 minutes remaining on the clock.
Game analysis and Master coaching will be given between the rounds.

Cost:
$160 per player (without ACF rating)
$100 per player (with ACF rating under 2000)
+$10 if paid on the day of the tournament
ACF rated players must be listed with a 3 or 4-digit number in the second column (not "NEW" or "4g") of the Classic ACF Master File: https://auschess.org.au/rating-lists
A NSW JCL rating (junior rating) does not count towards an ACF rating.
