Come join us with our Weekly Aladdin Jr Workshop! Tailored for aspiring actors aged 5 to 18, this immersive experience is designed to be both fun and engaging. Join us for a unique in-class audition and rehearsal process, guided by industry professionals, as we prepare for an end-of-term in class free performance for family and friends.
In this workshop process you will learn songs, scenes, and dances that will not only showcase your talents but also contribute to the positive atmosphere of the workshop. The collaborative and supportive environment ensures an amazing experience for participants of all ages.
But that's not all – this workshop serves as the perfect preparation for our June/July School Holiday MainStage Production of Aladdin Jr, should you choose to be part of our Musical in a week process. The skills and confidence gained in our workshop will set the stage for an extraordinary performance.

Workshop Audition Process
Weeks 1 - 3
We will take the actors through an immersive audition and callback process that will give great knowledge and understanding of the show. By the end of week 3 they will given their parts which they will keep for the rest of the workshop process.
Workshop Rehearsal Process
Weeks 4 - 9
our Workshop rehearsals begin as we start to work our way through the Songs, Scenes and Dances in the show. Our goal for this process is to build our workshop performance week by week. We will select specific scenes and songs from the show throughout our rehearsal process that will then be added into our end of term performance.
Workshop Performance
Week 10
This is the actors time to shine and showcase all that they have learnt in the term!
This performance will be in class and the actors are required to wear theatre blacks for this performance.

We offer classes in Kelvin Grove, Warner, Rothwell, North Lakes, and Morayfield, with exciting plans to expand to South Brisbane soon!
BJT Academy features three main types of classes:
• Academy Training (Curriculum)
• Academy Workshops (Performance)
• Academy Masterclasses (Focus on 1 skill)
In our engaging classes, students learn essential skills such as:

Our professional instructors, who are active in the industry, ensure a fun and encouraging environment while maintaining high training standards, giving young performers real-world experience. Many of our talented students have gone on to exciting roles in television and touring theatre productions!
